A double diaphragm air pump is a type of air pump that uses two flexible diaphragms to move air through the pump. The diaphragms alternately move back-and-forth in a chamber, creating suction on one side of the diaphragm, and forced air on the other side. This type of air pump is used in various applications to move air and other gases with low pressure. This includes applications such as aquariums, water aeration, fluid transfer, and chemical spraying. Double diaphragm air pumps are usually powered by either electric motors or gasoline engines.
